Full Time Administration Assistant Role

The Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen to join a fast-paced accounting firm as a full time Administration Assistant! This is a great step into an administration career and includes a wide range of tasks. You will get exposure to our clients, government organisations and will assist other members of the team to ensure the firm’s exceptional standards!  This role would, ideally, suit someone with some administration experience, but if you have strong attention to detail, willingness to learn and enjoy completing tasks at a high level, we would love to hear from you!

The Role

To help us achieve our firm targets, your duties will include:

  • ADHOC duties for the Practice Manager and Accounting Team;
  • Collating documents;
  • Answering incoming calls and liaising with clients and government organisations;
  • Chasing clients for debt payment;
  • Data Entry;
  • Helping to providing support for our accounting and administration team; and
  • Other ADHOC duties as required.

Debt collection will be an integral part of this role initially so confidence and being assertive is key.

Skills and Experience

  • Amazing communication skills (both verbal and in writing);
  • Experience with debt collection;
  • Positive and energetic personality;
  • Hard working;
  • Able to work and stay motivated individually, as well as thrive in a team environment;
  • Want to be a part of a wonderful team;
  • Willing to learn; and
  • Previous experience working in an administration role or similar, preferably in an Accounting Firm (including exposure to Xero software). Note: this is preferred, but not essential.
